How does a discover back end works (for example flatpak or snap backend ), and how to make a own?
And if it is not to complex, maybe I make one for rust cargo package manager…

Hi! I am far from a developer myself, but one specifically-related thing you could start doing with no startup time is exploring the source code for Discover backends, which is located here: libdiscover/backends · master · Plasma / Discover · GitLab
