I’m having an issue with KDE Plasma shortcuts for keyboard layouts. It seems that the d.e. is reacting to a layout switch key chord instantly on press and consuming the event. This has two side effects:
- the layout gets switched instantly instead of when the chord is released (windows behavior)
- most other programs will fail to recieve the shortcut
I failed to find any solution to this problem.
It is worse for me since my primary method for switching the layout is Ctrl + Shift, making firefox fail to recieve Ctrl + Shift + T or Ctrl + Shift + Tab or any other shortcut that is similar.
It is destructive to my workflow and I am not able to find a way to resolve this.
Is there any way to achieve the chord activation on key release and / or at least set up shortcut passthrough?
