How to add events to the agenda widget?

Hello,

I’d like to add events to the agenda i’m using as plasma widget, but i don’t get how to do that. There is no such option in the widget parameters and the events can’t apparently be added from Korganizer. Did i miss something ?

i use kalandar (now called Merkuro), but i needed to add this package before it would integrate with the calendar from the taskbar widget.

sudo apt install --install-recommends kdepim-addons

it adds the + Add button to the widget which takes you to the kalender app, in my case.
