Hello. I want to make it so that the notification that I receive, from this “Bolt” app, makes a sound. Should be easy, right?
This is what shows up in my Notifications drawer in my system tray. Obviously, I should click the “configure” button, right? Well, it opens the notifications for the “Plasma Workspace”:
Also, a LOT of applications are missing regardless from my Applications list. I have at least multiple browsers installed, yet only Discord shows up?
How do I do this?
Edit, for something more reproducible. It doesn’t matter the App, try this site over here: bennish[.]net/web-notifications.html . How do I enable notification sounds for Firefox, or for notifications of this site, as example?
I had to configure the “Notification” event in the Plasma Workspace notification settings… Now ALL notifications are going to make a noise, but its better than none.
Surely there is a better solution?

if you click on the desktop and type “notification” it will show you the settings page.
there is a configure by application button that should present a list of all your installed applications along with a search bar (as pictured in your post).
if you search for your “bolt” app, are you saying it is not listed?
how was this app installed?
there is a bolt launcher (flatpak) in discover if you have the flatak backend installed…
if you install the app this way, it should show up in the list.
