How to disable desktop thumbnail stretch?

For some reason, image thumbnails are stretched on my desktop.

Pic is thumbnail in Dolphin vs on desktop. Desktop thumbnails used to be normal like in Dolphin. Maybe an update introduced this bug?

I am using a 2160P screen with 150% scaling if that matters.

Can you tell what is your current Plasma version and dependencies ?

And if you remember what did change this.

Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.1.3-arch1-3 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

I don’t remember changing things in KDE. Changed my wallpaper once but it should be unrelated.

FYI Icon: keep the aspect ratio of portrait images with roundToIconSize (!2126) · Merge requests · Frameworks / Kirigami · GitLab should fix this.
