I donβt know, but I have a desktop PC (openSUSE TW).
My monitor supports HDR 10, is at 2560x1440 180Hz, and the most important: Wayland.
The monitor is connected to my GTX 1070 graphics card by Display Port 1.4 in both extremes.
EDIT: If you want, you can make a try with a Live openSUSE TW from here:

it seems that I misunderstood the principle of operation of HDR in Windows 11 and KDE Plasma: in Windows 11, there are 2 modes written - Use HDR (Not supported) and HDR video streaming (Supported and enabled), and the HDR checkbox in KDE Plasma implies - Use HDR (based on the indications of Windows 11 - Not supported)
p.s. the issue is resolved: for my laptopβs own screen, HDR is not supported, only HDR video streaming is supported in Windows 11
