How can I find other local users?
It’s very difficult to find local Linux users. Over the last 10 years I have known 3, who all used vastly different distributions and desktops and with whom I had nothing else in common.
Neither would any of those people have been available to visit me at my house to try to fix my computer.
I would suggest if you cannot connect through local social networks, then you’re not going to have much luck.
Your best resource would be through internet, and your browser, to connect with people using the same distribution in the forum.
For that, you must learn to read, understand, and respond to posts offering help and requesting information.
Your posts must also make sense in English, unless said forum has facilities for other languages - I know that Manjaro does have several language sections (with many German and European users).
I’m confident that most major languages have forums available.
