I have old PAL video captured on Sony V8 tapes about 30 years ago with the 1st Generation Sony Handycam which has been broken down sometimes.
Recently I sent one Sony V8 tape to a profession shop, converting the PAL video to mp4 format and saved on an USB thumb stick/drive. On the whole the quality of the mp4 video is NOT bad, except certain short sections being slighly blurred and another short section tinted with yellow color.
Would it be possible to rectify those problem on Kdenlive? If YES, please advise HOW. Thanks in advance.

Kdenlive can do a lot, just not magic.
Can you describe your problems a little more clearly?
It is quite easy to reduce a yellow tint.
Sharpening blurred areas afterwards is quite difficult and often looks extremely artificial. There are special paid tools for this.
It would have to be clarified whether the tape material already had the errors or whether the company did a poor job of converting. Could you ask again?
The tape is in perfect condition and the company did quite a good job in converting the tape to mp4 file. Unfortunately I couldn’t attach the screenshots of those problem sections here.
