When I try to join the matrix server I get a message that registering an account is disabled. It doesn’t seem like I can simply log in with the matrix.org account.

You don’t have to register a new account on every homeserver, simply join a KDE room with your matrix.org account.

Any time I try to access any KDE rooms (like the ones listed here: Matrix - KDE Community Wiki ), I get this screen:
How do I get past that? I have unverified Matrix account (stuck in a loop where I just cannot get that secure thingy, all reseting just loops endlessly) and I just now got an account at catgirl.cloud
I managed to log in to the off topic kde room in Neochat, and possibly now to #plasma:kde.org but it says that nobody said anything for the last five days, so Matrix is not being used?
I think I was last this frustrated with computers in the 1990s :-O.
