How to make dolphin mouse back button go up a directory rather than back

ah, yes i am still using x11 because i had an issue with screen edges on wayland right after my upgrade.

i will try a boot to wayland and see if i’m still having the screen issue and file a bug report on that if it’s still there.

although i didn’t test this, since i wasn’t the opener of this thread with the given problem, this seems like a pretty smart solution! +1

this sounds great, and thank you and everybody involved for this beautiful KDE Plasma! so, allow me to quickly ask: should one dig further into the “mouse button not assignable because it’s executed instead of registered in the settings dialog, and seem not to be configurable through the configs as well” (on wayland) topic, or may this also be covered by the developments you’re referring to? (even xbindkeys seem to not be an option, since something else is capturing the mouse buttons)

can confirm that switching to wayland gives me the binding button and the the others so my screen looks like what others are seeing.

i can successfully rebind my mouse buttons to keyboard shortcuts

but oddly, when i search for either the kcminputrc or plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, they are gone.

i was also able to solve my mouse hanging up on the edge off the screen by turning that feature of in screen edges.
