How to make KRunner open *always* on the primary screen?

Sometimes KRunner annoyingly opens on my left, secondary monitor (which is turned off) and not on my primary monitor. After some random amount of time it reverts to the correct behavior, opening on the primary screen.

Is there any way to force this?

it generally opens on the screen that has focus… i don’t see how it could open on a screen that is turned off.

are you saying sometimes, when that screen is turned off, that krunner doesn’t open at all?

That’s most definitely a bug.

No. I am saying that it opens on the screen that is turned off. When I turn it on, I can see the KRunner window.

I mean that is not specific to KRunner, KDE happily opens windows on my turned off screen all the time; but with KRunner it is the most annoying, because you can’t use a shortcut like Super-Shift-Right to move it to the primary screen.

Anyway, I added a window rule in system settings to force it on the primary screen.

@Herzenschein The only window manager that I know that does not do this is i3; the other ones like to do the same thing.
