How to make tooltips intangible?

When I was checking multiple files with very long names to check each one’s file size, I noticed that the tooltips were slowing me down because they are tangible. Is there a way of making tooltips/infotips intangible?

It’s not a bug.

In that case, opening the ~/Desktop folder in Dolphin and looking at the sizes in a Details view column seems like an easier approach, for what it’s worth.

I would assume that tooltips should not be able to be clicked through because you then can’t see what you’re clicking, making it harder to do intended actions and easier to do unintended ones.

Nice workaround.

The tooltips is also not “hoverable through” when moving the cursor to other files to see their tooltips. I have to wait about 1 second for opening each file’s tooltip.

Since Bug 495782 was also about tooltips and I had to report it to QT, I will do the same thing for this tangibility thing, just in case.
