I just installed Debian with KDE Plasma and my question is like like in the topic. How to make it so when I write for example “steam”, the steam will not show up.
My first thought was to go to “edit application…” and delete it. But it still appears in application launcher, but when I use again “edit application…”, steam is not shown there anymore

I didnt really understand the problem, do you want steam to show up in the app menu but not in search or vice versa? Or is it already not showing up in one of those places for some reason and you want to bring it back?
ima assume you you dont want it to appear when you search for it, in This case, you can rename steam to a single space or alternatively a empty unicode character such as this one:
doing so steam will still appear in the app list (unless u delete it) without a name and wont show up in the search results.
hopefully i was right about the problem and you were able to understand my bad english.
btw nice choice on the distro
