I’m trying to choose a single source of music to pause from a range of multiple sources while thye are simultaneously active. However the KDE media control widget only shows a single media source at any given time even when there are multiple sources active. This is strange because other users appear to have access to this feature where they can see the different sources appearing as tabs. I however have no idea how to activate this view, or maybe it’s been removed.
post your system info text by going to your system info and copying the details, then paste them here.
i see the view on the right when i have no media playing, it just picks up gwenview images i have on my desktop.
but as soon as i open a music or video player i get the tabs … doesn’t seem to recognize firefox tho when it happens to be playing a video.
Yeah for some reason it’s always limited to one source, if there’s a new source that pops up it replaces the current source with this new one. I’ve never seen tabs though, even when booting into the EndeavorOS install image (which uses Plasma 6.1), tabs weren’t appearing.
Okay I just checked and it appears that it works with different applications just not with multiple views in Firefox as you said.
for future reference, you can just paste the text from the clipboard rather than taking a screen shot.
i like to use the three backticks markup before and after for pasting blocks of text like this
