I have two tablets running opensuse Tumbleweed with plasma 5. In order to replicate how the power button works in AOSP and i(Pad)OS, I want to set it to lock and disable the display when pressed. However, I appear to have to choose between these options. Can both options be enabled for the button press?
In Plasma 5, no, I don’t believe so.
In Plasma 6, there is a separate timeout setting in Energy Saving for turning the screen off when locked. Reducing that to 0s will turn off the display whenever the screen locker is activated.
