I need to use a single button on a standard Arch/KDE installation and I am trying to find out how to set up a key/left-click combination that would produce a right-click. However, the System Settings panel for Mice completely ignores such a possibility. Should I look elsewhere in the Settings or do I need an external utility?
One would expect to find this feature under “Accessibility” - but there’s nothing appropriate in System Settings → Accessibility.
GNOME has an accessibility feature where you can hold the left mouse button for a configurable about of time to trigger a “secondary click”, though as far as I can tell they don’t have a feature for “hold key to cause left mouse button to simulate right mouse button”.
I think this should be a new feature request at https://bugs.kde.org (I didn’t find anything appropriate there with a quick search).
