I am using KRDC to connect to a Windows host. I have a smartcard read on my client that I would like to share with the host. I see a “Share Smartcard” field in the KRDC Configuration dialog. But it is not clear to me what I am supposed to enter there. On Remmina it’s just a checkbox. Does anyone know what I should put here?
Hey, i had the same problem and solved it with this.
- run “pcsc_scan” in terminal
- copy the exact string behind "Reader: "
- paste the string in the “Share Smardcard” field

@Spycoo – for some reason, when I launch RDP I lose internet access on my local machine. I can work fine on the remote machine and until I close KRDC internet on the local machine does not work. I remember something similar happening with remmina a while ago, so this may be an issue outside the scope of KRDC. Is this something you see as well?
@kayvee No, never had this problem with KRDC or Remmina.
