HP Smart Tank 7600 broken after upgrade

After update my HP Smart Tank 7600 Printer no longer prints
I see it in the list and can use the internal webserver with firefox to print a test page.
It appears the cups (?) driver was changed and now I get error.
What driver should I be using?

The problem is the connection. If i add another instance it installs with a uuid rather then the implicitclass:
The install of the second instance works fine.
Both are using the same driver Hp Printer,driverless,2.0.0
I just set it to default and try and work out whats happening with the implicit class

Unfortunately, KDE is not responsible for the printers drivers. You’ll want to bring this up to the people who run your distro.

…Unless your distro is KDE neon, in which case let me know and I’ll move this to the KDE neon place.

Thank you for your reply @ngraham
oops my bad
Yes it is neon.
I also have another “test instance” of neon without any extra apps to use for trouble shooting.
I just upgraded it and it is the same.
Details of the automatically installed printer are

HP_Smart_Tank_7600_series_944438
implicitclass://HP_Smart_Tank_7600_series_944438/
HP Printer, driverless, 2.0.0

Printing a test page results in an error reported in the print Queue

cfFilterExternal (ipp): Backend (PID 5364) stopped with status 4

Adding a printer manually I get the configuration
HP Smart Tank 7600 series [944438]
uuid=7db7e2fb-0c1e-41f2-9699-c720b6969af4
HP Printer, driverless, 2.0.0

this works and prints the test page correctly.

I cannot delete the automatically installed instance (well I can but it just reinstalls)

Well, I just got back to tracking this “problem” but it no longer exists.
Perhaps an update in the last few days fixed it.
All good.
