Hi, i have moved across to Manjaro - KDE from Windows on my main PC,
we have Email signatures written in html that i was using in Outlook.
when i setup the signatures in Kmail, the table border is not visible on my end, but when i send it, it seems to loose all formatting for the table.
I copied the code for the signature into thunderbird, it it appears fine,
it seems like it sends emails in rich text format instead of HTML possibly?
am i missing something?
Just boosting this thread hoping someone has an answer as I’m having the same issue. The image links don’t work either for mine.

I have the same problem on a freshly installed Kmail/identity. The HTML signature seems just fine in the identity’s configuration page, but when sending an email using it, most of the style is gone and table borders are HTML defaults (wide, grey, ugly).

Is there something I’m missing for this to work as intended, or is this really a long-standing bug ?
I have the same issue - nothing seems to have changed. Is there any documentation as to what HTML and CSS styling is supported? I have noted that the HTML gets rewritten on save (table bordering gets reset, style=“background-image: url(…);” gets turned into a background= attribute, etc). Starting to think I need to hand code a filter to programmatically add the signature.
Sadly, i gave up and now use Thunderbird.
