Can someone please help with this. I just downloaded kdenlive-23.08.3_standalone.exe and https://www.virustotal.com (where I check my files for problems) says this file has a trojan.

Why did you provide a link to virustotal, but not a link to wherever you downloaded kdenlive from?

https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/23.08/windows/kdenlive-23.08.3_standalone.exe
is your download link, then it’s probably a false positive on virus total.
If this isn’t your download link, I’d suggest using that download link.
