Whenever I try to update through Discover, the update gets stuck between 30% and 35% and simply stops after a few minutes without any feedback.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried almost 20 times, and the same thing happens with the CLI as well. It fails at around 40%.
With “Input/Output error”, right?
This typically means the mirrors haven’t all synced yet. Wait an hour or two and try again.
In the future we’ll have the OS not advertise that an update is available until all the mirrors have synced.
Yes.
My question is, if the mirrors are not synced, how is it able to download 40%? Or is that number fake?
I’m not sure exactly why it fails or what the significance might be of the percentage at which it fails. All I know is if it starts working in an hour or two, it’s an example of "Input/output error" update errors when updating before mirrors have synced or on slow or flaky network connections (#304) · Issues · KDE Linux / KDE Linux · GitLab.
I use updatectl update and it works, But Discover was still not working.
