I need help in installing "Effect Templates"

I’ve tried multiple times to install Effect Templates to Kdenlive, and they never pop up in the “Templates” folder in the Effects Tab.

I’ve tried to install it from the website, and from the little download button in KdenLive.
I’ve already tried installing it, then clicking out of the tab and going back.
I’ve tried to click out of kdenlive and then reload kdenlive.

I normally just download and manually place the files in /home/USERNAME/.local/share/kdenlive/effect-templates.
(I had similar issue and it took me a bit to figure out also initially a few months ago)
