Icon Size on Import File Listing

Hi Robby,

I created a local video database using “Import File Listing”.

I noticed that the generated icons are only 128x?? pixels in size.
On a monitor with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, this is obviously very, very small.

Is there any way to adjust this, e.g., to 512x??? pixels?
I haven’t found anything.

Regards,
Udo

Hi - thanks for the question. It’s hard-coded at 128x128 right now. I’ll bump it up for next release.

Thanks Robby,
my eyes will thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Merry Christmas.

Hi Robby,

I created a local video database using “Import File Listing” now with Version 4.1.5, and I noticed that the generated icons still have 128x?? pixels in size.
Do I need to adjust something somewhere so that these are 256x?? pixels?

Regards
Udo

Hi Robby,

I just noticed that version 4.1.5 still has “SIZE = 128”.

I guess I’ll have to wait for the next release.

Udo

Hi Robby,

I just got around to testing version 4.2 with Manjaro (Archlinux already has it available).
Now the 256px icons are there too … thank you very much!! :slightly_smiling_face:
I’ll probably have to wait a few more days for the OpenSUSE repositories to be released.

I’ll take a closer look at the version to see what features are interesting for me.

Udo

And… surprise… it’s also available in OpenSUSE 4.2 now.

And another surprise… In the manual, under “Hidden Configuration Options,” you’ll find:

[File Reader Options]
Preview Size=523

This means I can define the size myself.
Tried it right away, and it works!!!

Very nice, Robby! :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m curious to see what other surprises I’ll find.

Cheers,
Udo
