Icons on the main desktop disappear when editing

Hello everyone, when you edit the shortcut, it is the display on the home screen that disappears, while if you look through the file manager, it is. They appear only after a reboot

I noticed I have the exact same issue. Any time I edit a desktop icon, like to change the exe path for example, the icon dissappears from my desktop. The file is still there in the file system, in my Desktop directory, but it just no longer appears on the actual desktop. Rebooting fixes the problem.
