I have seen a lot of creators working with companies like YouTooz or Makeship to make plushies!
Obviously these are nowhere near enough to fund the development of KDE. However they are a nice piece of promotional material.
I think Konqi and Katie would look great!

There is the (older) Konqui plushie which is quite nice. Don’t know if that is still available.
I would quite like to see the modern Konqui and friends as plushies.

Unfortunately not yet.
Just thought I’d throw my voice in here, this is one of the best ideas I’ve seen for a funding drive in a very long time, assuming the idea happens I’d be more than happy to run an ad campaign over on my channel in support of this.

You know, while we are waiting for the plushies, there is the yearly fundraiser: Support Good People - KDE Community , in case you want to promote KDE meanwhile 
While Halloween is already over the page with the proprietary horror stories is still up. I think this would fit right in the content you do, please give it a read if you haven’t already!

I’d go so far as to assume it would be the opposite. I can easily imagine a world in which KDE would loose money on those. Especially when the plushies should meet certain expectations of quality and ethical & ecological standards. Also the group of people that would actually buy these is probably comparatively tiny, which also drives the price up, which in turn reduces the amount of people willing (or able) to buy a plushie.
But since KDE already had a plushie once, they probably already have some data on how feasible this would be (which actually might be a hint, since there hasn’t been a new plushie yet, even though the idea surely isn’t new)
Don’t get me wrong, if this comes to fruition I would absolutely love to have both, a Konqi and a Katie plushie.

I would be quite interested in a "marketable plushie"for KDE. If everyone is on board with making it then I’d probably buy one if possible.

I’d totally buy at least a couple of these! In fact less than a week ago I was looking over the server rack in my homelab and thinking, “I should have some guard animals flanking this thing to underscore my exhortations of ‘Off limits!’ to the niblings…”
It’s gotta be big enough, though, that I could stuff an Echo Dot or equivalent up its butt for playing cranky sound bites whenever someone opens the door.
