Improve support of non-Wacom drawing tablets, such as Huion

I am using DIGImend kernel drivers for my drawing tablet, Huion H950p (tried OpenTabletDriver, but it had so many issues, like the tablet randomly stopping working). It works… to an extent - I can set up pressure curve for the tip, however there are issues. For example, you can’t change the side buttons on the tablet (not sure if you can change buttons on the pen, as I am happy with the defaults) and despite setting them up in the Tablet KCM, they seem to be hardcoded to different mouse buttons (left click, rightclick, middle click, forward/back), instead to the shortcuts I want them to. Changing them via xsetwacom command works, however the changes are lost upon reboot.

I’d love if work would be done to support non-Wacom drawing tablets handled via DIGImend drivers, with special care focused on Huions as they’re a cost-effective, decent Wacom replacement that doesn’t suffer from various Wacom issues, such as “nib eater”/cheesegrater tablet surface that eats nibs faster than a fat kid eats halloween candy.

I follow that. I have a similar issues with my Kamvas Huion pro 16 (2.5k)
I also have the similar issue with OTD, my pens buttons aren’t configurable.
I have tested it with its native driver on win11, the pen buttons should be configurable.

The pre-installed driver in kde-neon seemed to work fine, but as Neon had a “does not boot at all after it’s first shutdown whatsoever” issue, I never really been able to fully test it.

I did not tested mine on DIGImend kernel drivers yet.
(It’s the first time I heard about that, actually. I’ll check that out if I have more spare time)

(EDIT: I just checked on the website, my tablet is not supported by DIGImend)
