Installing base KDE apps in KDE Linux

Hi,

I know KDE Linux is only in testing phase, but I decided to install it to be able to help filing bugs (even if it seems like there’s no need: I noted some bugs to report and the week after, when I finally had time to report theme, they were already fixed).

I see that the Flatpak repos already enabled are for testing versions of some KDE apps, but all the other KDE apps are missing from Flathub. I’ll add the Fedora Flatpaks repo so that I can install Kmail, Merkuro and whatelse. Is this the right way to act?

Flathub has both Merkuro, and Kontact (which includes Kmail).

Guess I was looking for Kmail alone to not overlap PIM suites. I was able to install Kmail alone in Fedora

As an RPM, but not as a Fedora Flatpak I think?

The Fedora Flatpaks seem to do it the same way as Flathub - i.e. there’s Kontact, but no separate Kmail.

I guess the idea is to avoid duplicating Akonadi across multiple Flatpaks.

Oh that’s terrible: I see I can use Kontact but not Kmail alone… It just does not appear in the menu
