Invert Mouse Cursor

Windows has had, what I consider to be, a pretty cool accessibility feature; Basically, they add an xor equation before rendering the mouse cursor, making it dynamically negative based upon the background. This makes it consistently contrast against both bright and dark backgrounds, and making it easier to find at a glance.

Could this potentially be added to KDE Plasma? Perhaps as a toggle?

That would be amazing. I’ve been wanting this feature for years.

There’s kwin-effect-xorcursor by jinliu, available on github.

I couldn’t get it installed though.

It’s a just a demo, never intended to be a proper implementation.

Anyway, I’ll update it this weekend.
