Is it possible to get back the show password button in SDDM

I tried to look around in the internet, initially I thought SDDM simply doesn’t have it, but the more I looked into the internet, I realized, it was once disabled, but can’t find any further discussions about it.

Looked into these issues, like

But, is there no way out? Like can’t we ship an icon directly with SDDM? Can anyone kindly explain the problem in layman’s term? Or if anyone has any workaround for now?

Someone needs to re-add it in the code in a way that fixes 429622 – Re-enable “show password” button on login screen but doesn’t re-introduce 494534 – Login theme can have illegible icons when using an icon theme that does not have all of the required icons.
