Is it save to share ~/.aqbanking across machines?

I store the *.kmy files in a location that gets synched to my NAS and from there to another computer where I can then work on the same files.

I noticed the AqMoney config is not part of the KMM files but stored separately in ~/.aqbanking

Would it be save to share those files with the other computer or are those machine-specific?

Thanks

I don’t use aqbanking, but I would start by looking into those files to see if the content is related to your accounts (I would guess safe to move) or related to the local instance, such as window position and software settings (should be kept local.) Note that kmymoney also keeps config settings in places other than the data file (for example ~/.config/kmymoney/kmymoneyrc and ~/.local/share/kmymoney/kmymoneystaterc) which should be kept local on each PC.

yea, that’s the critical piece to figure out. Will give it a try with proper backup in place

thanks, Jens
