Is there a key to select all?

I need a key other than shift + mouse click that can select all elements of a track without having to shift + click for each one.

Other than Ctrl+A or the Shift-drag lasso?

The keyboard shorcuts are configurable if you don’t like the defaults.

The idea was to select everything from a single selected track; I didn’t mean selecting everything from all tracks. I think there should be an option to select everything from a selected track.

Ah! I was wondering what the catch was in your original question - that wasn’t clear to me without the single qualifier but knowing that now it was what you said : )

Then yeah, it’s Shift+drag lasso, or assign a key to Select All in Current Track, it’s a programmable operation but doesn’t have a key shortcut by default.
