I’m looking for some way to change KWallet’s password automatically when the account’s passwords changed. Maybe even a prompt that just asks the user to sync their new password.
The accounts in question are tied to the Active Directory and they expire every 3 months.
Unrelated, but may happen before logging in to the system due to SDDM not having a prompt for expired password.
This exists. When you change your password using System Settings > Users, you get prompted to change your wallet password to match the new user password.
Doing it automatically is not possible at the moment though.
Yea this won’t do in my scenario.
The accounts are managed by AD, & manual password change is done on Okta (or AD by an IT)
In that scenario, you’ll need to manually change your wallet password to match the new user password. Or give it a blank password.
Is there a way to default it to a blank password?
At least for new profiles that get created?
