Is there a way to compare two unsaved/untitled documents with Kate?

I use Kate for all my text documents. Many times I just want to compare 2 unsaved documents to find the differences. I open two empty docs for each one in Kate, but in order to have them compared, I have to save them under filenames especially the untitle ones.

I’m wondering if there is a plugin that allows unsaved docs to be compared to each other with Kate. I think it can be done with Vim, but it just seems a lot of commands. Maybe there is a simple way or if anyone is aware of another app that can do that.

kdiff, meld and kompare and only seem to work with a file once it saved.
