Is there a way to make the activities window open on the right side of the screen instead of the left?

The question is in the title, welp.

I couldn’t find anything in the settings or in the internet (maybe I’m dumb I know), so I’m asking. Please help.

I use Kubuntu 25.10 with plasma version 6.4.5

p.s. I mean the thing what appears when you are pressing meta+q

that seems to be hard coded to open on the left side of the active monitor.

there may be a .qml hack you can make, i found this on my system

/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.activitybar/contents/ui/main.qml

that shows left items that my (or may not) have a right counter part.

backup the original before changing it.

Thanks for info!

I’m pretty uneducated about what .qml hack is and what’s going on in the system in general xd, but at least now there’s a tip on where to look for information

you can make a backup copy of the file by save as with a extention like .old or something

then do a find/replace on the original changing left to right and see what happens after you relog.

Well, I tried, but nothing changed. But no problems appeared, it seems, tho
