Issues with file transfer from windows to steamdeck despite everything else working

hi!, as the title says im trying to use the file transfer to load stuff onto my steamdeck but nothing is happending, unsure if its because im using the feature wrong so ill detail what im doing

i press share file and select the file on my windows pc and nothing happends, no pop up or anything, the odd thing is every other feature on there works (ping ect) so i presume its got something to do with my network? but surely that whould give me an error and not just nothing happending, sorry if its a bad explanation im not extremly tech savy :sweat_smile:

tried transfering from the steamdeck to the pc and that works just fine, (alltho i did realize it wont transfer zipfiles which was what i was trying to transfer, but upon trying windows to steamdeck again on a non zipfile it still does nothing)

Are you using kde connect to share the files?
