Have you tried SMB4K?
Do you want to do user authentication via Active Directory as well or just simply access some folders on a file server? For files and folders you can simply use Dolphin and open smb://user.name@server/path. Sometimes you also have to use domain\user.name. I also set our work domain in /etc/samba/smb.conf but don’t remember if that is necessary.
For authentication you could probably use a PAM LDAP plugin but I have to tested that.
Printing with authentication is unfortunately not supported by Qt
This depends highly on your OS as it’s done at the OS level, not the desktop environment. I’d suggest checking the documentation for your OS as it is likely to have more suitable information.
