Hi, newbie here, been running fedora with kde for a week now. I have a warthog hotas of which I want to calibrate the joystick. I tried different methods like jscal and jstest-gtk, the calibration get “detected” but they don’t apply it into wherever it’s supposed to go, as a result games don’t recognise the calibration. I want to use gamepad to calibrate the stick but for whatever reason, the joystick doesn’t show up. Any tips on how I can tackle this issue? Thanks.
seems TM has a couple calibration tools that run on win7 you might try to get to work using bottles
not really a KDE thing.
Didn’t know that I could run a program through wine and it would apply settings to Linux, I thought wine was a closed ecosystem. I’ll try it out, thanks!
wine can run a bunch of windows applications under a single config (much like your regular windows computer), or you can have a separate instances of wine for each application which is mostly how bottles does it.
i don’t know where the calibration tool will put it’s output and you may have to transport that file/folder to your other instance of wine in order for your windows games to see it.
linux doesn’t really come into it unless you are running a native linux game.
