K3B burner DVD disc

I insert the DVD disc and see this on the DVD writer.

When the button is pressed, K3B can only be removed by a kill command. It does not respond to a close.

Please, provide us with the following information –

  1. K3b version.
  2. Distribution, which distro version and, KDE Plasma version information.
  3. An indication that, all the dependencies required by the K3b package have been satisfied.

Problem not changed, it’s same.

When I insert an empty DVD+R into one of my DVD drives –

And point K3b to the thing –

And then open the K3b settings –

And then hit the button to get some new Themes –

  • Nothing happens – no new window created pointing to the server where the new Themes are located.
  • K3b closed with without any issues.
  • But, I had to eject the empty DVD+R with the CLI “eject” command – the KDE Plasma device Plasmoid didn’t have any options to do that …
    With USB drives the Plasmoid behaves as expected.
