Any way to make the handbook available in the app? I found the pdf online but I’d like to make the help function work. I guess mostly to understand how kde helpfiles work…
Depending on your distro, you might have to install another package, maybe called k3b-doc
Thanks. I’m on EndeavourOS and there’s no other doc package in the Arch repo. Or anywhere else that I can find. The appropriate docbook files exist in /usr/share/doc, maybe it’s a bug in k3b.
F1 is working fine on Manjaro unstable, do you have khelpcenter installed?
And check if the F1 shortcut is still set in k3b shortcuts settings (CTRL+ALT+,).

khelphelpcenter had not been installed, for some reason. And that solved the issued, thanks. Other KDE apps opened handbooks, so it’s curious that khelpcenter wasn’t installed somewhere along the way, and those other apps didn’t require it. So many parts to KDE…
