I have following setup: Kate in split view, 3 files open, two left, one right and all visible in project list on the left. File 1 is visible left, File 2 is visible right. The right panel has focus.
Now I want to navigate to File 3, click on the project list and it opens the file on the right panel, too. My preference would be that the already opened File 3 on the left panel would become visible (reactivating this tab). Is there a setting I can choose?
My issue is, that I have not just 3 files open, but 10+ and I don’t want to scroll through all tabs and just click on the list for quick navigation. But I always forget to make focus to the left panel first. It would be great if the list would ignore the panel-focus and just check if the file is opened on any panel, first.
