Rather than a Global theme, it looks like the author has released separate Plasma colours and Plasma style, and uses the third-party Newaita-dark icons, have you tried installing them separately?
I just tried out the one you want. No prob. I think it’s better to install everything separately instead of trying the global theme. For the simple reason that there are a couple of scripts in there.
That being said, the icon theme isn’t complete, I can tell you that.
So, in the screenshot I only used the colorscheme and ran the bash script for the blue variant ( incomplete) icons. Maybe you can get/try from a different source.
