when I wanted to kde plasma on freebsd by guide from official webpage I’m typed “pkg install --quiet --yes kde5 plasma5-sddm-kcm sddm xorg” it writes me an error “pkg: No packages aviable to install matching “kde5” have been found in repository” how install kde plasma on freebsd?
You may have to switch the repository from quarterly to latest at least according to this page (if you scroll down to the “packages” table) kde5 for amd64 seems only available on latest and for arm64 only on quarterly.
But the last time i used FreeBSD was nearly a decade ago maybe someone that currently still uses FreeBSD can correct me if I am wrong.

I think its /devel/kde6 or /devel/plasma6 do pkg search kde | more to find correct pkg name. To many compile errors to compile from ports wish they would fix this . But pkg install worked for me. Im very impressed with kde6. Hope this helps.
