I’m posting this here instead of in the bug tracker because there are plenty of open issues there and I don’t need to add to that. Plus, it’s not really a bug, at best it’s a feature request.
The notification-sharing plug-in for KDE Connect (on Android) lets you configure which apps’ notifications you want to mirror to the paired device, which is great. But that screen suffers from a SEVERE clutter problem, because it seemingly lists every app that’s ever been installed on the device, even low-level system services. Many such interfaces, in Android itself, at least offer a “Show/Hide system apps” toggle, which would be a start. It might also help to filter the list based on what’s actually currently installed on the device, if possible, because this is kind of insane:
I’m VERY aware that that’s Samsung’s fault, not KDE Connect’s fault, but anything the app could do to possibly clean that up would be a big help. The list on my current phone is almost unusably stuffed with random background services I’ve never even heard of.
