After recent update kde connect started spaming notifications. Most of them only difference with icon one with correct app icon which created that notification and second with kde connect icon.

I also saw a duplicated notification, but from KTorrent and both the notifications came at the same time.
Could it be a problem with the Notifications widget, instead?

Do you mean plasma notification widget? I don’t think so because kdeconnect unrelated notifications doesn’t duplicate.
Also tried pair again device.
Even reinstalled app with config removed.
I’m having the exact same issue, I think it started around the beginning of the week. It appears that we’re seeing the original notification passed through, as well as the same thing as a KDE Connect notification. I went into the Plugin Settings > Notification Sync in the KDE Connect app on my phone and disabled sync for the KDE Connect app itself, but it didn’t make any difference.
It also appears to be queuing notifications and then serving them “when available,” which I guess is fine on paper, but the result is every morning when I wake up my computer, I have to wait about 2 minutes for the massive spam waterfall of every single notification my phone received since my computer was last awake, twice.
