Through GSoC, KDE seeks to encourage new contributors to join Free Software projects long term and ensure the continuity of FLOSS.
This year’s proposed ideas cover improving and enhancing Okular, Kdenlive, digiKam, and KDE’s localization infrastructures, among others.
