Hello everyone,

I’m not particularly fond of KDE’s default lock screen. Is there a secure and reliable way to replace the KDE lock screen with an SDDM theme? Alternatively, would it be feasible to create a custom theme for the KDE lock screen from scratch? Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated.

No, sorry. The lock screen is security critical so we don’t allow it to be themed.

How to enable switching users with LightDM/Slick Greeter with Plasma 5.27?

Since SDDM doesn’t support changing expired passwords, I need to switch to something else that does, and I decided to try LightDM. On Kubuntu 24.04, how do I make “switch user” work with LightDM? Right now, it just brings me to Plasma’s lockscreen.
