When I change themes, it resets the cursor. And I have not tried it on another user account because I only have one. I might make another one just to see but I assume that it will happen there as well (I don’t have any major system changing packages installed that I know of.)
That’s not true unless you’re ONLY talking about changing/applying a GLOBAL theme which changes the cursor.
Global themes obtained from Pling are completely unsupported and when you install them there’s a prominent warning.
Are you not capable of simply changing your cursor without applying a Global Theme?
Again, the first step that should come with every post - almost 100% certain that this user has installed some dodgy Global Theme, and is complaining about the consequences of applying a GLOBAL theme without telling it you don’t want to change the cursor or some other included detail.
What I’m saying is that it resets the cursor back to the normal pointer, it does not change the actual cursor theme.
And this is not some random dodgy Global Theme that I got off some website, it’s the Orchis theme which is used by many people. I got it from the official Arch repos, not Pling.
Also, was also occurring with the default Breeze theme as well
