KDE neon installation failed

I try install, but get error called “main script file /usr/share/calamares/modules/neon-fs-cleanup/main.py for python job neon-fs-cleanup raised an exception”

use neon-user-20241201-0744.iso

I searched the forums, and there are already more people experiencing this problem. I don’t know what to do with it, but I tested it with virt-manager on another distribution without problems, which means it was a physical installation issue. You may need to rewrite the neon-fs-cleanup script

Same problem here. What is the stuff about GPT. I don’t even know what GPT is! Seems like an install of the iso using balena etcher should just work. Do I have to reformat my SSD or something?

Any reason you want to install Neon, specifically? It is no longer much recommended choice as generic distro, being rather oriented to “adventurous” users.

You may want to look at more solid distributions that will grant a predictable experience. Fedora or OpenSUSE come to mind.
