KDE Partition Manager - exfat

I wanted to format a pendrive to the exfat file system, but it was not available to choose from. I remember that it was available about a year ago. Has it been removed from the program? Ver: 24.08.3

Hi - exfat is an option on my system in KDE Partition Manager:

But, from what I’ve read elsewhere, there may be some Linux distributions that don’t install the tools to manipulate exfat filesystems by default.

Which distribution are you using? The name of the package might differ based on that, but searching the package repository for “exfat” should narrow it down pretty quickly (on Fedora it’s exfatprogs, on Ubuntu it’s exfat-utils I believe).

Hope that helps,

I use KDE Neon.
So it should be in the repository?
It’s not in the discover hmm.
There is something in synaptic

@edit: I installed exfatprogs and now it’s available to choose from.

Thanks for your help
