I’m now on Distro: MX-23.3_KDE_x64 Libretto May 19 2024 base: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
KDE Plasma 5.27.5; Widgets that depend on Ksysgurad do not work, even though one package is installed (qml-module-org-kde-ksysguard
but can’t be launched).
I know development Ksysguard was dropped to be replaced by the KDE System Monitor, however I’d like to see if these widgets can be forced running.
Is there a way to install a version, maybe a .deb package or similar? Looking into Synaptic or through the repos or googling was no help.
I have not used Debian for a while and this is the first package issue I am facing.
The widgets I was looking at are:
Aesthetic Clock Aesthetic Clock - KDE Store
Simple System Monitor Simple System Monitor - KDE Store [also tried building from Github source]
System Load Viewer System Load Viewer - pling.com
All of these give detailed, direct monitoring feedback to the desktop.
The default Conky is nice, similar to Aesthetic Clock, but for instance, has no info about individual cores and does not look so well with Active Blur wallpaper blurring.
In theory, this should be possible, I just need some hint I guess
